Staff was fabulous! I changed the linen size at the last minute! The staff was very accommodating with a “can do” attitude! I was very stressed about the wedding and was so appreciative for the positive attitude!

Creativity + Innovation = A Custom Project

We take great pleasure in transforming an establishment’s outdoor patio space into a useable functional area during the winter months. Customers are able to enjoy the beauty of the season while businesses experience an increase in revenue as a result of the additional dining area. We have been able to help several restaurants by selling them a custom installed sidewall package for their pre-covered patio and then continually maintain the product with proper cleaning, plus we reinstall it annually with a heating system. We can also transform an existing non-covered patio with a tent designed to handle the harsh winter weather. The sidewall has a pocket designed to anchor the walls down tight so that Mother Nature can throw what she wants at you and you have a great secure heated area to serve your guests.

Creating Custom Projects

We have rented generators for our football display and activation set-up at 10 sites. This was by far the easiest, most efficient rental agreement we have used thus far. I thank you for your service and Boise State Sports Properties for recommending you.

Our wedding was a beautiful event and Tates made it that much better!

The sky is the limit when it comes to decorating a table for your impending event. Runners, centerpieces, table settings, and linen selection all contribute to the overall theme. Our clients combine various pieces to create unique blends that perfectly suite each individual event. A charming rustic feel was created by using natural décor such as natural wood folding chairs, lanterns, and full place settings atop silver chargers. A clean crisp elegance was achieved with white padded folding chairs, white linen, and a touch of greenery in modest arrangements. And a muted spring palette produced a classy intimate dining setting using mauve linens, modern square dinnerware, and a square centerpiece filled with freshly picked flowers. Remember, any theme can be expressed with a creative vision and expansive array of event rental items.

The Idaho Shakespeare Festival annual gala was held Monday, July 15 at the Idaho Shakespeare amphitheater. This year’s theme: A Night of Magic. The color palette used to translate the theme throughout the facility consisted of poppy, navy, and pewter. And what a perfect palette it proved to be!

Upon entering the grounds, several frame tents housed tables covered with items donated from a plethora of local businesses to be auctioned off during the evening. Navy satin bows added an elegant contrast to the stark white leg drapes surrounding each tent leg. In the main seating area, poppy linens cascaded over tables with navy and pewter napkins dispersed among the many tables located on the patio. Not only was the area a feast for the eyes but also for guest’s stomachs as Lisa Peterson from a’Tavola served up delicious fare.

This annual fundraiser truly was a Night of Magic

It was nice to not need to clean the dishes and linens before returning. Delivery crew was great. Esta was wonderful.

Heirlooms, paintings, precious gems, and unique statues could all be found at Expo Idaho on Saturday, June 29th. PBS’s highest rated series, Antiques Roadshow, chose beautiful Boise as the fourth stop on their eight-city summer 2013 tour and Tates Tents & Events was fortunate to be selected as the show’s rental provider. Setup of the event was an incredible adventure! We had the opportunity to work alongside major production crews in our journey to transform the space into an area fit for television.

Pipe & drape partitions not only divided the immense open indoor space into distinct separate areas, but also provided an attractive protective barrier around production equipment. A 30 x 50 frame tent was installed in the north lawn of the Premiere Building to house Arrival Check-In. We outfitted the tent with floors and A/C units (power distribution supplied by our tool division, Tates Rents, Inc). 20 x 20 festival tents created a shaded walkway from one building to the next on the sweltering day.

The Antiques Roadshow was an experience we will not soon forget! We can’t wait to see our handy work on air come January 2014!

The thing that separates Tates from some of the other rental companies is the consistency and quality of their staff.

Savor Idaho, Idaho’s premiere food and wine festival, was held on the second Sunday in June. The 6th annual event took place at the Idaho Botanical Gardens and was graciously hosted by the Idaho Wine Commission. The gardens offered the perfect setting to sample delicious food from local restaurants and taste wines produced from wineries located throughout Idaho. Tents were installed ranging in size form 10 x 10s to 30 x 30s in the vast grassy lawn. Not only did we enjoy setting up and being a sponsor of this event, but we also loved seeing all the smiling faces of people we adore and respect within our community.
