Job Description:

Idaho Tents and Events is now hiring and looking for awesome new people to join our team! We do everything from large weddings to small private dinner parties and everything in between. Our people are what make our company great and ITE is looking to add self-motivated and friendly people to our team. Successful candidates must be reliable, enjoy working on new tasks/events each day and have a desire to help create that special day for our customers.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales or the event industry or similar experience, with a keen focus on building relationships and event execution. The candidate will be working directly with venues, corporations, and event planners. They must be highly motivated, client-focused, and have extreme attention to detail. The candidate will also have the ability build new relationships with potential clients and developed significant partnerships within the community.

Job duties include:

  • Answering inbound and making outbound sales calls to current and prospective customers
  • Offering options for client events to help them achieve maximum success
  • In person consultation meetings going over event logistics, schedule, layouts, etc.
  • Create CAD layouts and detailed event descriptions for each event
  • Meet monthly sales goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in the events industry in a sales capacity
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficient computer skills (ability to type at least 45 wpm
  • Existing knowledge and familiarity with event venues in the Treasure Valley a plus
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong emphasis on attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple large projects simultaneously while working under pressure
  • Proven creativity and problem-solving skills within the events industry
  • Outgoing, sociable personality
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends when required
  • A valid driver’s license
